Antique dictaphone from the early 20th century, first invented by Thomas Edison, designed to record dictation to wax cylinders to be later transcribed. This is a true relic and seems to be mostly intact, most obviously missing a horn that would be talked into which was once attached to the end of the silver tubing. Included is the wheeled stand and original power cord which hasn't been tested. A real piece of early electronic communication history and a fine conversation piece or home decor for the eclectic collector of curios.
