Description: Up for sale is an authentic antique Imperial German officer's dress sword dating from the late 19th to early 20th century , featuring a lion head pommel , ornate brass guard, and a wire-wrapped grip. This ceremonial saber was likely carried by a German officer for parades and formal occasions during the Imperial period (c. 1870–1918) . The guard is brass with elegant floral detail, and the blade shows signs of age but is structurally solid. The sword comes with its original nickel-plated metal scabbard featuring a dual suspension ring — a feature typically seen on officer-grade sabers intended for formal military dress or ceremonial wear.
